Training Packages

The NC EBP Center can provide training for your employees and providers and save you money, by bringing the training to you. With Contract Package Training, we can offer you a reduced rate per person, as well as saving you travel costs. Contract Package Training can include specific Evidence Based Practices (i.e., Assertive Community Treatment, Wellness Management & Recovery, etc.), for Service Definitions training (i.e., Person Centered Planning, Community Support Services, Management Training on all six EBPs, Readiness Assessment, Fidelity Reviews, CARF Readiness Assessment, and more.

We provide training and support for the Substance Abuse Academy of Community Partners - a collaborative effort by key stakeholders in your community to recognize and reach out to persons with substance use disorders. The NC EBP Center offers two services - the FACE-IT! Substance Abuse Academy, aimed at helping adults, and the SAY-it! Substance Abuse Academy, aimed at helping youth.

North Carolina has a wide array of human service providers that come in direct and regular contact with individuals with substance abusers and their families as well as those at risk for substance abuse.These Academies offer a structured substance abuse training and development program.  They target a representative core of these human services providers to increase awareness, responsiveness and competence in addressing substance abuse concerns. Specific training in evidence based perspectives of substance use disorders will be integrated with an introduction to motivational interviewing and other concepts. These skills will support these human services providers in assessing and treating individuals with substance abuse issues.
